Shannon Martin, CFNC
Shannon is the Founder of Rooted Healing, LLC, a certified funcitional nutrition coach, and an advocate for holisitic healing. Her journey into functional nutrition is deeply personal - she spent over 20 years battling chronic illnesses, including Chronic Lyme Disease, Babesia, Epstein-Barr Virus, Hashimotos, Leaky Gut, Pasarsites, Endometriosis, and more. After years of misdiagnosis and frustration with conventional medicine, she took her health into her own hands and discovered the power of nutrition and root-cause healing with the guidance of a health coach.
Her passion for wellness goes beyond her own experience. She has worked 11 years with Brady Benefits and Assoicates, LLC, as a licensed employee benefits advisor / client service executive and saw firsthand how our healthcare system operates - countless prescriptions, rising health claims, and skyrocketing insurance costs, yet people aren’t getting any healthier. She wanted to be able to help people on an individual level. It was heartwrenching to see the amount of people suffering and not getting the help they truly deserve. She realized that true healing doesnt come from band-aid solutions, it comes from addressing the body as a whole.
That’s why she’s here - to help people like you regain control of your health through education, nutrition, and sustainable lifestyle changes. She believes in looking beyond symptoms to uncover the root causes of illness and empowering you with the tools to heal naturally.
She is passionate about living a vibrant, healthy life and cherishing every moment with her daughter. Whether hiking through nature, cooking a nutritious meal while jamming to music, soaking up the sun on the beach, or tending to her garden, she finds joy in the simple things that nuture both body and soul. A lifelong learner, Shannon is always exploring new ways to improve well-being through nutrition, holistic healing, and natural living. She also loves traveling, discovering new places, and curling up with a good book next to the fire place with a cup of tea and her two cats. She occasionally loves to golf and go horseback riding (happens on a very rare occasion). She also loves the relationships she has gained through the Chronic Illness Support Group (Seen&Known) she started at her church, LifeBridge in Fort Wayne, IN. She thanks God for this healing journey. Her journey toward health and wellness is not just personal - it’s a mission to help others reclaim their vitality and thrive.
